چکیده

The proper solution of geotechnical boundary value problems requires robust constitutive models that can describe the mechanical behavior geomaterials under various loading conditions, while also accounting as closely possible for different material scales interest. This is even more relevant to granular media where complexity behaviour not limited nature contact law between grains, and instead originates from multiplicity contacts oriented along all directions physical space form distinctive mesostructures. paper revisits so-called H-model, which belongs broad family micromechanical approaches whereby an intermediate scale (mesoscale) explicitly introduced into formulation. One great advantage model it be extended by further multi-physical couplings, example presence capillary bridges grains. versatile was implemented within explicit finite difference based computational software (FLAC), present work demonstrates its ability analyze engineering with a microstructural viewpoint, providing new insights in mechanisms failure difficult capture standard phenomenological models.

L2-transforms for boundary value problems

In this article, we will show the complex inversion formula for the inversion of the L2-transform and also some applications of the L2, and Post Widder transforms for solving singular integral equation with trigonometric kernel. Finally, we obtained analytic solution for a partial differential equation with non-constant coefficients.

Existence of multiple solutions for Sturm-Liouville boundary value problems

In this paper, based on variational methods and critical point theory, we guarantee the existence of infinitely many classical solutions for a two-point boundary value problem with fourth-order Sturm-Liouville equation; Some recent results are improved and by presenting one example, we ensure the applicability of our results.

RBF Multiscale Collocation for Second Order Elliptic Boundary Value Problems

In this talk, we discuss multiscale radial basis function collocation methods for solving elliptic partial differential equations on bounded domains. The approximate solution is constructed in a multi-level fashion, each level using compactly supported radial basis functions of smaller scale on an increasingly fine mesh. On each level, standard symmetric collocation is employed. A convergence t...
